Leonardo da Vinci was born at 15 April 1452 and died at 2 May 1519. Leonardo was born in Anchiano, Italy. He was an illegitimate child. His father, Ser Piero da Vinci was a young lawyer and his mother is Caterina. His mother is a peasant girl. The birth name is Leonardo Di Ser Piero Da Vinci. He is Italian Renaissance architect, musician, anatomy, inventor, engineer, sculptor, geometer, and painter. He has been described as a universal genius and successful in life. Leonardo is famous for paintings, such as Monalisa, The Last Supper and the vitruvian man. He is also known for designing many inventions that anticipated modern technology but were rarely constructed in his lifetime. In addition, he helped advance the study of anatomy, astronomy, and civil engineering in the life. So, Leornardo Da Vinci is a very great man and inteligant. Lorenzo de'Medici saw this lyre and wishing to better his relationship with Ludovico Sforza, the usurping Duke of Milan, he sent Leonardo to present this lyre to the Duke as a gift. Leonardo's musical performances so far surpassed those of Ludovico's court musicians that the Duke was delighted.
